Much has changed in the world over the past few months. However, one thing that remains constant is our commitment at Lochardil House Hotel to create happy, memorable experiences for our guests, teams and the local community.
With conditions continually changing due to COVID-19, we are actively monitoring and evolving our practices to ensure what we are doing is safe and effective in accordance with Government guidelines.
As we welcome you back, you will notice our increased cleaning regimes are designed to set an even higher level of cleanliness throughout our hotel, restaurant and bar. Our comprehensive safety guidelines for both our team and guests will ensure that everyone in our properties can always feel comfortable.
We’ve increased the frequency of cleaning in our public areas including reception, stairs, door handles, public bathrooms and room keys using environmentally friendly chemicals. Dedicated team members will be solely focused on this regularly maintaining our high standards. You will find hand sanitiser dispensers for your use at the entrance and throughout our building. We are observing social distancing in all areas.
On top of our already rigorous cleaning processes, additional disinfecting protocols have been implemented in our guest rooms. Personal protective equipment, including gloves and facemasks, will be offered to our team members and guests. We have removed decorative items including cushions, bed throws and magazines to reduce ‘high touch’ areas.
Our check-in process has changed slightly to minimise contact; We encourage guests to opt for online self-check-in/check-out as a contactless option. During the check-in process, guest preferences will be established regarding housekeeping services and breakfast timings.
Our team of staff are fully trained in the latest protective measures. By taking care of our team members and following our new cleaning routines, we will be ensuring the health and safety of our guests. Continuous team training will ensure that the above protocols are adhered to.
We are committed to delivering a clean and safe environment and have created a 16-step safe stay programme to set a new standard of hotel cleanliness to ensure our guest enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay. Our safe stay programme has been designed in partnership with world leading hygiene experts Eco-Lab, to ensure your safety and peace of mind.
