Lochardil House Wins Prestigious Quality Award
We are pleased to announce that Best Western International have recognised all our hard work and effort by awarding us the The International Quality Award 2009.
This prestigious award has never been awarded to a hotel in Scotland before, and has only been given to two hotels in Britian and sixty-nine hotels Worldwide.
The following is from the press release from the Best Western HQ in Arizona, US.
The Best Western Lochardil House Hotel Inverness has been privately owned by Eileen Fraser since 1985 and is personally run by Eileen and her partner Graeme MacBean. They employee 35 staff.
The Hotel has been a member since 1997 of Best Western which is a worldwide consortium of Independently owned Hotels with over 4000 properties in 80 countries.
There are 290 Best Western Hotels in the United Kingdom.
The International Quality Award is given only to those Hotels which perform at the highest level in quality and standards set and measured during stringent annual quality assurance assessments over 2 days.
Only 69 Hotels out of 4000 worldwide have received the Award in 2009 and Lochardil House Hotel is only one of 3 in the United Kingdom out of 290 and indeed the only Best Western Hotel in Scotland to receive the Award.
